GAME ON!

BE PREPARED FOR BATTLE!
1. Balancing the unfertilized chicken (egg on a spoon)
The name of the game says it all. Each team will carefully balance an uncooked egg around a variety of obstacles and pass the egg off to each team member. Teams will stand in a single file line as each team sends one person at a time to quickly maneuver around the obstacles and return back to their starting point. Each team member must carry the egg once. In the event that the egg drops and breaks, that team must go back to the start line, get a new egg, and then start their leg of the relay once again.
2. Drip by Drip (Fill the bucket with water)
We hope you like to get wet, because this game will have some major spillage. There will be a bucket full of water at one end of the field and a small bottle at the other end of the field. Your job as a team will be to fill the little bottle full of water using the water from the bucket. The only way you can transfer this water will be by running with a small (when we say small, we mean really small) cup placed above your head. Only one team member can retrieve the water at a time. Please note that there may by a small hole in the bottom of the cup as well. We like to keep things interesting =D.
3. What has two feet, four arms and is faster than a turtle? (Wheel barrow race)
Need we say more? What better way to bring back some childhood memories than competing in a wheel barrow race? Nothing beats the thrill of your hands stomping on the ground, blood rushing to your head, and the constant wiggle of your bum as your partner tries to steer and support you body weight! But you know what? We like to spice things up a bit, so we’re not only having this race, but we’re going to blindfold the support buddy too! FUN FUN FUN!!! That’s right, the person holding the “wheel barrow” will be blindfolded! Good luck and stay safe as you make your way down the field and back. Don’t worry there’s plenty of fun for everyone. Each team member will get a chance to experience the joys of holding someone up by the legs and walking with them.
4. We were joined by the hip at birth (Three legged race)
We hope all of you like each other, because you are about to be joined at the hip, ankles and knees! Be ready to stand tall and stand together, because we are going to have you and a fellow team member make your way around an obstacle course as fast as you can! Don’t wear high heels!!!
5. Don’t step on my shoes (Pop the balloon that is wrapped around their ankle)
If you’re one of those people that don’t like it when someone scuffs up your brand new shoes, then this is not the game for you. Each person will blow up a balloon about the size of their foot and tie it to their ankle with an elastic band (do you see where we’re going with this?). Each team member must have a balloon on their ankle in order to participate. Once everyone has a balloon on their ankle, you will have 5 minutes to pop as many balloons from the other teams as possible. The team with the most of balloons still inflated wins!!!
6. Soft hands (water balloon toss)
Make sure to trim your nails for this one. Each team will need two pairs of representatives to participate in this game (that’s four people per team, FYI). Each pair of individuals will be given a water balloon (don’t start tossing it at each other or the judges – unless the judge is named is Tammy Tsang) to be tossed back and forth between each other. Each pair of individuals will be toss balloons to each other at about a 5 foot distance. Once a catch is made, each person will take two large steps back and will continue to do so with each successful catch. A successful catch is made when the water balloon is thrown in the air and makes it elf into the hands of your partner. The water balloon can not pop. The team with the furthest distance wins!
7. Slay that dragon (capture the dragons tail)
Bring thou sword and prepare to slay ye dragon! Teams will line up in single file and place their hands on the hips of the person in front of them. The person at the end of the line will dawn the lovely dragon’s tail (a piece of cloth or flag). Your goal will be as a team to capture the other team’s flag. But you must stay linked together with your hands on each others hips the whole time. Each time you get your tail captured, you lose a team member. The team with the most amount of tails at the end of the round wins!
8. Don’t touch my pork!!! (steal the bacon)
Oink Oink! Steal the bacon requires quickness, attentiveness and other adjectives that end in “ness”. Teams will number themselves off 1 through 7 and stand at their designated area shoulder to shoulder. The “bacon” or flag will be placed in the middle of the field away from each team. The referee will call out a number and the team member that has been designated as that number, will then quick attempt to grab the flag and run back to their teams designated area before the other team members tags them. Only one team member from each team can attempt to capture the bacon at a time, unless the referee calls out two numbers!
9. FINAL ROUND: 1, 2, 3 PULL!!!! (Four way tug o’ war)
This is the GRAND DADDY OF THEM ALL!!! The Four way tug o’ war, ohhhhhh, ahhhhhhh!!!! We saved the best for last! Each team will have at least five members on each side of a long 50’ rope where they will pull, pull and pull some more. We don’t need to explain, right? You know what we’re talking about.
